Feeling Like a New Man!!! (Almost there)

So now my weight is a pretty solid 206.... and I have been hearing great feedback on my results.
I started out at 242 pounds, thats a 36 pound weight loss. I feel like one of those Jenny Craig success stories. I am looking good, feeling great, and my clothes are fitting alot better, no belly buldge sticking out of my gear. Also i am noticing some cuts beginning to develop in the midsection, so its a wrap now. Once i saw that, i immediately went out and purchased the ABS DIET book from Mens Health magazine, which is a 6 week program that will help chisel me out.
Have you guys noticed that since i have been getting more serious with this there has been less joking on the blog? I believe its because now i dont care about making this interesting as much as i care about really explaining to you guys what you should do if you wish to follow in my footsteps. I should definitely be under 200 pounds by the end of this week...

Last week all i ate was vegetables and fruits, and salads.... it was an experiment to see how much weight i would lose.

Results: i didnt really lose much... but my body felt great! alot lighter and it helped to cleanse my system.

QUICK POST: The Return of the Skinny Man

So i now officially weigh LESS than i did when i came to Binghamton University Freshman year wayyyy long ago...

I really don't feel like getting into it too much which i should because this is a blog but i am tired and i have to wake up tomorrow at 530am for another 6 mile run.

BEGINNING OF BLOG WEIGHT: 222
WEIGHT 211 POUNDS
GOAL WEIGHT 185

Men lie, women lie, numbers don't.

A few pointers: lots of water, a banana every morning, and you have got to RUN...and of course my eating habits have changed dramatically, but when i do cheat and have a pizza its ONLY ONE!!!!


There is no way around it other than hard work, but ...

FAILURE WILL NEVER OVERTAKE ME IF MY DETERMINATION TO SUCCEED IS STRONG ENOUGH

I just lost 9 POUNDS IN ONE WEEK.

Let's get it.

GOT MY FAT ON!!! Also, Weight Loss Contest at Work BLOG


I have entered a weight loss contest at work, and so far I am in 3rd place after the first week...

the people in first and second place both posted astounding 9 pound drops.


Anyway, one of the peoples involved set up a blog covering the competition, and he is a pretty witty character i must say:




I must say i was a fat @ss this weekend, i must have consumed a whole pie of pizza and at LEAST an 8 pack of beer - Coronas, Heinekens, Baileys, Jameson, Blue Moons...

Blue Moon is the most delicious beer in the whole wide world.


I had a turkey sandwich with the works, macaroni and cheese and Teriyaki Chicken, some wine and some Bacardi Limon

And i didnt do my weekend long run...which means i have to do it today after work which is kind of wack....

So tonight i have to do the 6 miler, and tomorrow morning i have to get up and do another 3 to stay up to date on my program.

Nah im not checkin my weight screw you LOL....

Quick Post: Doing Well and Very Motivated



Quick post not too much fun or funny stuff going on here.




Its been hotter than 12 brown folk in a hyundai with no A/C with the doors locked in an African Desert, but other than that I have still been running.


I lost all the dumb weight that I had put on while I was being a fatty and so I am back down to 214.



Oh and I ran 19 MILES last week.


3 MILE RUNS are a joke.



... but I be running down Dekalb sweating like a PIG.

Why NIKE Can Kiss My GRASS

This is how i feel right now...confused...and like a ...LOL

I will make this one brief... Lets run through this with all my Brooklyn peoples
and even if you are not from Brooklyn, feel me anyway.
I just ran for an HOUR... and my foolish NIKE PLUS IPOD thingy logged me as only running .42 MILES.

.42 MILES in ONE HOUR?? no way. When I am on the treadmill i am knocking out at least a mile every 12 MINUTES...which should leave me here at about a 5 MILE RUN today.

Here is what i did... i started out on Vanderbilt and headed up to Dekalb
Left on Dekalb -- > ran to Fort Greene Park
Ran up to Flatbush Ave Ext made a left
Ran all the way past JUNIORS, past LIU, past Atl
antic Mall, ran around the Mall...
Headed back down Fulton Street, ran back onto Flatbush and Ran BACK to Dekalb...
Once i hit the park just to be sure i had a good workout...i Ran around FOrt Greene Park 2 times, and went home.

Redirection: I Dare you to Run a Marathon Fatty!!!

so alot of new things are going on ...
for one i had a week where i was completely wylin out and eating whatever i wanted, and i actually gained about 10 lbs.
True story, I looked like this....


"ROSS."

I was being one fat fella. I ate some good stuff though, like a burger from Jackson Hole (one of the best burger places in NYC), Papaya Dog, a few Indian restaurants, some Thai food, and all types of otherness.

then i chilled out, started eating a little better, and worked out a few times, so now i lost about 4 of them.

i had to gain alot of the weight back because i entered a weight loss contest at work, so i needed to add some pounds that i knew i could melt away to bring my % up to take away the prize... its going to go for 8 weeks, and the prize is about $700 or $800.00 GOTTA LOVE DEM USD's...

I also signed up for the NIKE 10K RUN on August 31, 2008 in New York City. I can log my times/runs using a NIKE+ and my ipod NANO...Technology is crazy. I just bought those and running sneakers today.

Man dem sneakers UGLY...

They are U-G -L -Y, they have no alibi.


Anyway, check that site out, you can run races against anyone anywhere in the world...

No really, just do it.

In the midst of my hyperness over the 10K run, i decided that i am going to run a marathon this fall.
Thats 26.2 MILES, b*tch LOL.

I started my training this week, and i am actually sitting here nice and sweaty after busting out a 3 miler.

By the end of the 16 week program, I will most likely be ripped out of my freaking mind, and the challenge after that will be not to post nude photos on facebook.
